Investment: I packed my lunch today- Vegetable chicken salad sandwich, green beans and grapes. I'm guessing around $2 tops.Instead of: Pizza Ranch buffet, about $8. I stopped in to see the family that had gathered at the Ranch for lunch today, but when they were ready to go, I went and ate the lunch I had packed.
Savings: $6
Bonus: I didn't feel miserable all afternoon from eating way too much pizza!
